The Pouilly region

Pouilly-Fumé, Pouilly-sur-Loire... These wines are known all over the world. In the soil of Pouilly, King Sauvignon is clad in his finest and most subtle aromas.

Our estate of 17 hectares is mostly situated on a terroir of Kimmeridgian marl. This soil is a conglomerate of tiny fossilized oyster shells, also known as "Terres blanches" (white earth). This exceptional, very specific terroir is the source of our wines' opulence and complexity. The average age of our vines is 35 years and our oldest vines are over a hundred years old.

Respect for this soil is an integral part of our work and we take constant care of each vine. We make use of "reasoned" agricultural practices in order to preserve this natural heritage.
We see the success of good wine as the expression of a terroir through persistent soil work, our winemaking secrets and the moderate Loire climate.
